A Salt Lake County native, Kaitlyn is excited to join the team at Lone Peak Psychiatry, where she is committed to providing compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centered mental health care.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University, where she served as President of the Neuroscience Student Association, and completed her Physician Assistant training at Utah Valley University. During PA school, she served as a Student Body Representative, advocating for her peers and the patients she served. Her clinical rotation at Lone Peak Psychiatry solidified her passion for psychiatry through meaningful patient care and exposure to innovative treatments.
Prior to PA school, Kaitlyn worked in both family practice and psychiatry, including roles as a TMS technician and assistant in ketamine therapy. She also spent two years living in Taiwan, an experience that shaped her strong commitment to culturally sensitive, inclusive care. She is an LGBTQ+ ally and strives to ensure every patient feels respected, safe, and understood. Kaitlyn believes mental health care is not one-size-fits-all and uses evidence-based medicine to develop individualized treatment plans.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, hiking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
