Melissa is a Psychiatry Nurse Pratitioner who completed her Doctorate at the University of Utah . She graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor’s in nursing and has worked as a registered nurse in a residential eating disorder treatment center and as a pediatric oncology nurse.
She has 6 years of mental health experience as a psychiatric technician and registered nurse caring for people with diverse diagnoses and backgrounds. She has extensive experience working with individuals with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, mood disorders, and ADHD. Melissa is HAES® aligned and offers weight-inclusive care.
Melissa is passionate about helping others on their journey to achieve optimal mental wellness. She recognizes that every person is unique and understands that mental health treatment is not “one size fits all”. She is committed to offering individualized and holistic care by utilizing medications, therapeutic tools, and sustainable lifestyle adjustments.
